Hallo,

wofür wird die SBSCLNT.exe (WIN 2000 Server) im loginscript gestartet?

Hab mir schon paar Seiten angeschaut aber nirgens fernüntig beschrieben!

Installing Applications on the Client

 

The Application Launcher, SBSClnt.exe, installs applications on the client computer. This file, discussed earlier in this chapter, checks to see if the client computer requires applications to be installed by reading the Apps.ini file in the client computer's Response folder. After reading the Apps.ini file, the Application Launcher does the following:

•

 

If no response directory for the computer exists, or if the Apps.ini file is missing, Application Launcher quits.

•

 

If the client computer does not need applications to be installed, Application Launcher quits.

•

 

If the client computer requires applications to be installed, Application Launcher checks to see if the client computer is a Terminal Services server. If so, it changes the Terminal Server to application install mode. Application Launcher changes the Terminal Server back to normal mode before quitting.

•

 

Next, a dialog box appears, asking you to click either Start Now or Postpone. If you are working across a slow link or do not want to install applications at this time, click Postpone. Each time users log on from that client computer, they will see this dialog box until they install the applications.
